Blush Smooth Hydrangea is a reblooming compact deciduous shrub with serrated deep green foliage and no fall color.  The sturdy stems don’t flop under the weight of its huge panicle balls that open silvery pink and flush to deep blush pink that bloom all summer until first frost, attracting butterflies and pollinators Blooms best in partial sun and rich, moist well-drained soils.  Blush Smooth Hydrangea is a self cleaning variety, no deadheading needed.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS:  Medium Maintenance. Mulch soil to maintain moisture and overwinter.  If pruning is needed do so after flowering. Slight susceptibility to bud blight, wilt, leaf spot, and mildew.  Aphids are occasional problems.   

LANDSCAPE USES:  Accents or Group Plantings, BordersWoodland Gardens, Foundation Plantings, Hedges, Containers.
